Sailor Life 2000 - 2006

One of my more amusing life events was the 5 1/2 years that I lived and worked on a 24/7 geological research drill ship.  I worked two months on, two months off, and literally sailed around the world.  I saw and visited places I only read about in books!  Guam, Japan, Bermuda, Chile, Brazil, The Azores, Portugal, Canada, Australia, Panama.  I fell in love there too.  I met my husband, as well as some of the most special friends a gal could ever have.   Part of me misses this life too, but I have to say it's nice to be on terra firma for a while.    My years living on a ship created a love for all things nautical.  I now have my eyes always on the lookout for unique sea related beauty
